Tulip season on an empty campus

Description

Image of Naismith Green with the Springfield College sign in the center and Judd Gymnasia to the right. Many colorful tulips are blooming in the foreground, which is the focus of the image.

Coverage

I briefly visited campus on Sunday, May 3, for the first time since we left in March. It was a beautiful spring day with lots of flowers in bloom, especially tulips and daffodils. I stopped in the Learning Commons to pick up some items from my office, then took a short walk to snap photos of the flowers around campus. There were several students using the 24-hour study area in the Learning Commons while I was there, but the rest of the campus was nearly empty.
