MAUSD Essential Persons' Childcare COVID-19 Music Video

Description

The Mount Abraham Unified School District's Essential Person's Childcare staff in Bristol, VT created a music video to demonstrate the social distancing of the pandemic while showing they can continue to have fun with an uplifting song. MAUSD Essential Persons' Childcare Staff: administration, teachers/leaders, nurses, custodians, and children represented.

Coverage

This video captures the essence of what it is like to adapt to the changes of the COVID-19 pandemic, such as practicing social distancing, wearing masks, and sanitizing everything. It also shares the heart of a group of people who stepped up to serve their community during this time, and care for the children of essential workers so those workers can then focus on their job and care for the community. It is important to notice that during the pandemic it is even harder for children to understand what it going on, so the staff's video proves the need to be able to stay positive and have fun during this uncertain time.
