Coverage
I choose this photo to represent what my family and what many families around the world are experiencing during the COVID-19 Pandemic of 2020. Pictured is my mother along with her coworkers on the labor and delivery floor of Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut. This photo illustrates the "new normal" of those working in health care. The masks, scrub caps, and face shields are now used daily when caring for patients that are presumed to be healthy. This pandemic has greatly affected both my mothers and our family's way of life as a whole.
