This resource is an email from Springfield College President, Mary Beth Cooper. The email is the official announcement for Springfield College to move to online classes to finish out the semester amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic

I chose this email as my primary source as this email for a lot of students and faculty made the pandemic a reality for the college. Prior to the email being released, a large amount of the student body and faculty were skeptical of the pandemic being a serious event. The email Sent by President Cooper made COVID-19 a historical that would change the current perspective at the time dramatically. Officially deciding that Springfield College would shut down the campus due to a viral Pandemic.
