E-Mail sent to Springfield College students regarding move out information

Subject

Springfield College students and Residence Life

Description

This is an email that was sent from Springfield College Resident Life to all students regarding move out information. When students left for spring break, they did so leaving some items in their dorm rooms. The college implemented a staggered move out process to allow students to return to campus and retrieve the rest of their items from the dorms.

Coverage

When students left campus for spring break, there was much uncertainty about whether or not they would be able to come back to campus after break or if the rest of the semester would be conducted online. As such, many chose to leave most or all of their stuff in their dorms rooms if students were to come back. After the announcement that students would not return, Residence Life sent an email detailing a staggered move out process for students to come and retrieve the rest of their items in the dorms. It was a staggered process based off last name in order to maintain social distancing.
