Sewing Mask Covers for Local Hospital
Description
During this pandemic, my mom (Kerry Hart) has been working with local Middlesex Hospital to sew reusable mask covers for the hospital workers. The hospital sent out instructions on how to make the covers, and provides the material. So far, my mom has made over 150 masks to donate. Making masks certainly keeps mom busy during the day, as her work schedule is altered by the pandemic.
I'm also in the background, working on classwork at a makeshift desk made of a new beehive for mom's apiary.

Coverage
I chose this photo because it shows a lot about our lives during this pandemic. We're all looking for things to do in all of our free time, and mom found a really productive way to help the community.
