Hannah Barnes a sophomore at Springfield College decided to meet up with her home friends at Groton Dunstable Regional High School- which they all graduated from in 2018. The group of friends followed social distancing guidelines created by the CDC. Hannah and her 5 friends parked their cars in a circle and talk about how their lives were going and their experiences dealing with COVID-19. This was the first time she had seen her friends all together since Winter Break ending in January.

Meeting up with old friends while social distancing, was a trend going around. Videos like this had been appearing all over the news and on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.Although I was very sad to hear that my sophomore year at Springfield College was over, I was excited to see my high school friends, some of these friends I have known since the age of 1. Teenagers and young adults had found creative ways to meet up and see their friends in a safe but unique way during quarantine and the COVID-19 pandemic. I submitted this video because I want to look back at this pandemic and know that my friends and I tried the figure out the best way to see each other safely and creatively!
